Hi there, I’m Katie, your small business sidekick!
I’m a millennial who loves cats and dogs equally, am part of multiple book clubs and always up for a nature walk, and never far from a big mug of tea, usually while watching RuPaul’s Drag Race.
I work with small product businesses, creatives, and independent brands, offering friendly and flexible Shopify, stock management and analytical support, because I know how overwhelming running a business can be when you’re trying to do it all!
Experienced Merchandiser turned freelancer
With over 15 years of experience working in Merchandising for high-street retailers, I’ve spent my career managing sales and profit targets, planning product ranges, and making sure stock levels are just right (not too much, not too little!)
I’ve worked with both established brands and fast-growing businesses, helping set up processes and systems from scratch. Now, I’ve taken those skills and turned them into virtual assistant support for small businesses, because I’m passionate about helping creative brands.

I truly believe the future of retail is small, creative, thoughtful brands that focus on quality, individuality, and customer experience. Nothing makes me happier than seeing small businesses succeed and grow.
Having built my own product-based brand, an art print business called Skudaboo, I completely understand how running a business can feel overwhelming, like there are never enough hours in the day, and you’re expected to be an expert in everything.
That’s exactly why I’ve shaped my services to help take some of that pressure off your plate, using all the skills I’ve learned from working in both big and small businesses.
Where I'm based, but I can support you anywhere
I work remotely with small businesses across the UK (and beyond!), I’m usually based in Bristol. However, right now, I’m making the most the the freedom of freelance life by house and pet sitting around the country until September 2025, so you might find me working from all sorts of lovely places!
